Chilina Valley Half Day Hike
The Chilina Valley half day hike is a very well preserved natural environment, it has an extension of more than 15 kilometers, this valley is characterized by its agricultural sector.
In this Arequipa Valley you can find great landscapes, this ecosystem is divided into the agricultural and wild sector. The route is very pleasant, It has mountains, a river, hiking routes, etc., all the necessary elements for an optimal development of adventure sports.
This adventure hike in Arequipa city takes you to discover the cropfields and andean terraces. This is am easy level walk which allows to be closed to the Chili river and the green areas of the “white city”.
This activity is ideal for getting acclimatized to the altitude before going to the highlands in the Colca Canyon, Puno or Cusco.

Pick up from the hotel and departure to Yanahuara main square by car, where is located the viewpoint from where we can watch the Misti volcano, then we will continue to the “Carmen Alto” viewpoint from where we will start the hike. Along the hiking road we will have a panoramic view of the valley and the volcanoes: Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu.
Along the hike we will pass close to the Chili river and the andean terraces. Return to the hotel.
