Misti Trek 2 Days
Misti Volcano Trek 2 Days (5822 MASL) is a stratovolcano located in southern Peru near to the city of Arequipa. With its seasonally snow-capped, symmetrical cone, It lies between Chachani mountain (6,075) and Pichu Pichu volcano (5,669).

Day 1: Arequipa – Chiguata – Base Camp (4600M)
Pick up from the hotel at 8AM and departure by 4×4 for around one and a half hours to the base of the volcano located at 3400M. Arrive to the westside of the volcano at around 10AM.
At this point we will start trekking for 6 hours to the base camp located at 4800 meters above sea level. This is a hard hiking day as we walk up through a sandy trail. Arrive to the base camp, dinner and campement.
Day 2: Base Camp – Summit of the Volcano – Arequipa
Breakfast at 3AM, then we start to climb to the summit of the volcano. After five hours we will reach to the summit located at 5825. Free time for taking pictures and enjoying the awesome landscape and the mountains.
Return to the base camp for picking up all the mountain equipment, then we go back to the base of the volcano where the 4×4 will be waiting for us. Departure to the city and arrive.
