Chachani is a volcano located 55 km from the city of Arequipa, Peru.
Chachani is a stratovolcano with an altitude of 6,057 msnm. It is higher than the Misti and Pichu Pichu. By many mountaineers it is considered the friendliest and least difficult volcano of more than 6000m in the world.
It is necessary to have an excellent physical condition. We also recommend that you have previously acclimatized to the altitude before starting this ascent, especially with a visit to the regions of Colca, Lake Titicaca or Cusco.
