Day 1: Puno – Lagunillas – Pampa Cañahuas – Patapampa – Chivay – La Calera Hot Springs
Pick up from Puno at 6:15 AM, then we will start the guided tour to the second deepest canyon in the world: The Colca Canyon. Along the way we will arrive to Lagunillas, where we will watch the local birds and the different lagoons. We drive to the 4200m where is located the Pampa Cañahuas Natural Reserve, at this place we will watch vicugnas, lamas and alpagas. Then we will arrive to Patahuasi for drinking a coca tea. Arrival to the highest point Patapampa, located at 4800 MASL, natural view point where we will see the mountain range. At 1pm we will arrive to Chivay town, located at 3600m. Lunch in Chivay and accommodation. In the afternoon visit to the hot springs La Calera, return to Chivay. At 7pm will meet the tour guide in the lobby of the hotel and then transfer to the planetarium Maria Reiche, which is located at Casa Andina Hotel (Chivay – service available just in a private Colca Tour). You will learn how the ancient Colca Canyon inhabitants interpreted the night sky according to their myths. After this unique spectacle, dinner with folk show, return to the hotel and overnight.

Day 2: Chivay – Cruz del Condor – Arequipa
At 5:30AM breakfast and departure to the famous Cruz del Condor at this place is possible to watch the flight of the Condors, during the way back to Chivay along the way back to Chivay we will visit the different natural view points and the Yanque and Maca towns. Arrive to Chivay for having lunch and departure to Arequipa city. Arrival to Arequipa at 5PM and transfer to the hotel.
