Adventure and Nature Tour in the Colca Canyon

Day 1. Arequipa - Chivay - Canocota - Cabanaconde

At 6:30AM Pick up from the hotel in Arequipa and departure to Chivay town, passing through the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas where we will watch vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas. Arrive to Patapampa best known as "Mirador de los Andes" a natural lookout located at 4850 M.A.S.L where we will watch the Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca, and Mismi volcanoes.
At midday we will arrive to Chivay town for having lunch. After lunch we will drive for 40 minutes until arrive to Canocota town. We will start the kike thourgh an ancestral road used by the locals to exchange their products in the Colca Valley. Along the way we can observe pre-Inca terraces and a colorful landscape with queñoa, the giant hummingbird, hawks, duck mountain range, etc.
After 3 and a half hour walking we will arrive to La Calera thermal baths, at this place we will spend one hour for relaxing in the hot springs.
Then we will continue driving to Cabanaconde town, stopping in route at: Yanqque, Antahuilque and Wayrapunko viewpoints for taking pictures of the andean terraces and the different views from the Colca Canyon. Arrive to Cabanaconde, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Cabanaconde - Achachihua viewpoint - Cruz de Condor - Pinchollo "El Infierniello" Geyser - Chivay - Arequipa

Before breakfast time, we will do a short hike to the Achachihua viewpoint, located at 30 minutes walk. From Achachihua you will watch Sangalle (oasis) and the Huaruro wateferfalls. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant from where we can get impressive views from the Colca Canyon. Afterwards we will continue driving to Mirador Cruz del Condor, at this place we will watch the condors flying and the canyon.
After the visit to Cruz del Condor, we will drive to Pinchollo town (3600 MASL) where is located "El Infiernillo" geyser, here we will arrive by car, after driving one hour. Arrive and hike along one hour until arrive to watch this natural wonder, Infiernillo is a permanent geyser, It reaches 70 °C grades.
Afterwards, we will drive back to Chivay, along the road we will stop for taking pictures of the beautiful landscape. Arrive to Chivay for having lunch and departure to Arequipa. Arrive to the city at 5PM.
