Colca Canyon Trek 4 Days

Day 1. Arequipa – Cruz del Condor – Llahuar Lodge

Pick up from the hotel at 3:30AM and departure to Chivay town, where we will have breakfast. Then we drive to the Cruz del Condor (2hrs more) where we see the Colca canyon and the spectacular flight of the condors, then we will continue until Cabanaconde town, from where we will start the trek until arrive to Lllahuar (5 hours walking). Along the way we will descend a thousand meters down to the level of the river Colca, where you can relax and watch the Geiser, continue the walk crossing the suspension bridge and head to Llahuar Lodge. Once installed in the Bungalows have the option of enjoying the baths temales place accompanied by nature, we can also go down to the Colca River for trout for our dinner.

Day 2. Llahuar – Fure – Falls Huaruro

We got up early to have breakfast and will continue our walk and after two hours we reach the village of Llatica (2,438m), and other interesting places then continue for an hour and a half to reach the village of Fure (2,758m). After 5 hours of hiking here we have lunch and then we will go to the waterfall Huaruro. We walk an hour and half to the waterfall. Here we can observe the beautiful waterfall Huaruro having 100 m. Approximately, it is sometimes possible to see a beautiful rainbow that forms the bottom of the waterfall. The return will also take us an hour, dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Fure – Oasis

Breakfast and then we continue walking to Oasis, Sangalle (5 hours walking). Sangalle is a peaceful and charming place, where we will enjoy their pools, surrounded by palm trees and breathtaking nature, here we will have the afternoon free to relax and enjoy the scenery. Overnight in Sangalle.

Day 4. Oasis – Cabanaconde – Chivay – Arequipa

5:00 a.m. Return to Cabanaconde, approximately 4 hours of ascent from the oasis. Breakfast in Cabanaconde and Return in tourist bus to Chivay on the way we will make stops at major viewpoints. Visit to the hot springs for relaxing and lunch in Chivay. Departure to Arequipa stopping in: Patapampa (natural view point, located at 4900 MASL) and Pampa Cañahuas (vicugnas and alpagas watching). Arrive to Arequipa at 5:30PM.
